Vision and Mission
1. Vision:
  To emerge as a preeminent engineering University that serves the country by equipping students with a high level of technical, management, and practical proficiency with a view to yielding future national need.
2. Mission:
  The mission of BAUST Khulna is to impart quality education on engineering, technological and associated branches of study and research with a view to making competent citizens enable to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

Objectives
1. To extend higher level excellent engineering education into the remote areas of Bangladesh.
2. To decentralize capital or city centric education system.
3. To create scope by imparting time exigent knowledge on science, technology and engineering at graduation and post-graduation level.
4. To enthuse youths to contribute within the science and technological field of the country by exploring own brilliance.
5. To instill core values of life into the mind of the young generation by nurturing discipline, responsibility, awareness, mutual respect and ethics.
6. To actively contribute in making self-assured internationally recognized technically sound force that these science-minded individuals remain innovative in their cognition and communication and shows wisdom in the analytical field.
7. To create equal opportunity of standard education, research and development work for the remote areas.

Core Values and Statement
The core values in 'ABCD,' framework aimed at nurturing both insight and action. These values are chosen to instill during the academic journey in of BAUST Khulna:
1. Assertive and Agile:
  Assertiveness describes having or showing a confident and forceful positive personality. Knowledge, education and values make a personality to discharge own duties and responsibilities. On the other hand, Agile implies to be able to think and understand quickly. We emphasize not only on prompt cognitive ability but also on clear perception on both academic aspects and individual philosophy of life.
2. Belongingness and Brilliance:
  Belongingness implies an affinity for the institution and community. Both self-respect and mutual respect are vital where everyone is treated equally despite people belong to diverse background. Thus, each and every one would own the community to grow and thrive together. We firmly believe that decency, empathy and compassion for each other are the indicators of basic humane quality. Besides, we also believe that brilliance is not rare, provided, every individual is given due opportunity to flourish. Nevertheless, we remain cautious not to overrate talent or intelligence if humane quality is absent.
3. Curiosity and Competence:
  Curiosity signifies the strong desire to know or learn something. Curiosity removes stagnancy and self-complacency in the process of learning. Curiosity leads to discovery, exploration and inventions. We believe in the immenseness of human potentials and wisdom. Through continuous progression of inquisitiveness and learning by doing, competence is developed. By competence we mean to develop the ability to do something efficiently put in own best knowledge, skill and effort. We accept human limitation and failure, but we don’t expect the dearth of sincerity. We are also committed to equip the students with attitude that they will need to navigate respective drives in learning, living and working.
4. Devotion and Discipline:
  Devotion is the self-willingness and often presaged as love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person or activity. Every individual’s or every student’s is different and aimed to achieve a goal or target. To perform any target, it requires a good amount of devotion and effort to do it. It requires complete devotion and loyalty towards it. On the other hand, if we observe it shall be revealed that the nature itself is disciplined. Discipline is a subject we suppose is often misunderstood. But we explain discipline in the simples way. implies, that teaching of the sense of right and wrong. Discipline is habitual training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character and dignity.
