Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST) today organized a warm farewell program in honor of Rakib Hasan Shaumik, Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, marking the end of his dedicated service to the university.

During his tenure at BAUST Khulna, Mr. Shaumik earned deep respect and admiration from students and colleagues alike for his commitment to academic excellence, sincere guidance, and supportive mentorship. His contributions to teaching, academic activities, and student development have left a lasting impact on the department and the broader university community.

The farewell event was attended by Vice Chancellor Brigadier General Nizam Uddin Ahmed, afwc, psc, along with Heads of Departments and other esteemed faculty members. Speakers at the event expressed heartfelt appreciation for Mr. Shaumik’s professionalism, integrity, and positive influence on students, wishing him continued success in his future endeavors.

Mr. Rakib Hasan Shaumik is set to begin a new chapter of his professional journey as an Assistant Engineer (Civil Engineering) at Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC). The BAUST Khulna family extended their best wishes to him for a successful and fulfilling career ahead.
