BAUST Medical Center:

For the emergency in-house medical assistance to the students, teachers and staff BAUST established Medical Center in the year of 2021 with necessary primary and emergency medical equipment and medicine.

Facilities:

1. Emergency Medical Service:

• Attend to students as emergencies & treat according to cause.
• Provide oxygen support & nebulization to asthma & COPD patient, breathlessness due to any cause.
• Attend to students both male & female residential students in 24/7 hours.
• Washing, dressing & bandage for minor cut injury.
• Provide some emergency medicines.
• Provide wheel chair support for carrying student to reach medical center.

2. General Treatment Service:

• Provide medical treatment to students, teachers & staff according to cause during office time.
• Ensure primary health check up/medical fitness as per requirement.
• Counselling to all about the disease, treatment option, prognosis & outcome.
• Refer to higher center/specialist if needed.

3. Others:
   • Arrange seminar on different types of health-oriented cautiousness.
   • Monthly visit to residential hall to check food standards to ensure the hygienic food.
   • Contact with guardian over phone if needed.
