As a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics, it is my great pleasure to welcome all students, faculty members, and visitors to our academic community. Mathematics is the backbone of all modern disciplines, especially in fields like CSE, EEE, ME, CE, and even BBA. Without a strong foundation in mathematics, it is difficult to understand algorithms in Computer Science, circuit analysis in Electrical Engineering, design principles in Mechanical Engineering, structural analysis in Civil Engineering, or data analysis and decision-making in Business studies.
In Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), mathematics plays a vital role in programming, data structures, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. In Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), it is essential for signal processing, circuit design, and communication systems. Mechanical Engineering (ME) relies on mathematics for modeling physical systems and simulations, while Civil Engineering (CE) uses it for structural design and fluid mechanics. Even in Business Administration (BBA), mathematical concepts are crucial for statistics, finance, optimization, and strategic decision-making.
Along with strong academic foundations, our department is also committed to developing research skills among students. We guide students in learning research methodologies, mathematical modeling, and analytical thinking, which are essential for higher studies and advanced research. Our goal is to prepare students not only for successful careers but also for pursuing postgraduate studies and contributing to innovation and knowledge creation.
