The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), BAUST Khulna, successfully organized a day-long seminar on 14 June 2026 at the BAUST Khulna Auditorium.

The seminar was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, Distinguished Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, BRAC University; Former Professor, Department of CSE, BUET; and Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, and Mr. Ajmat Iqbal, Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO), CDL, and Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Reve Systems. The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Md. Zainal Abedin, Director (Retd.), Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), as the Special Guest.

Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad delivered an inspiring session on “Analytical Skill Development and Success Stories of Bangladeshi Students in CSE Education,” emphasizing the importance of analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and lifelong learning in achieving academic and professional excellence. Mr. Ajmat Iqbal conducted an engaging Career Talk, where he shared valuable industry experiences, emerging technology trends, and practical guidance for building successful careers in the ICT sector.

Special Guest Mr. Md. Zainal Abedin encouraged students to remain dedicated to their studies, develop strong professional ethics, and prepare themselves to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.
