Heartiest welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Khulna. The Civil Engineering program commenced its academic journey in September 2024 with a clear vision of producing competent, ethical, and industry-ready engineers capable of contributing effectively to national and global development.
Since its inception, the department has been committed to ensuring excellence in education through continuous quality improvement. We strictly follow the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework with regularly updated curricula and syllabi aligned with modern industry demands. The department adheres to the guidelines and regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Our academic environment is student-centered and enriched by highly qualified faculty members and dedicated staff. Emphasis is placed on sessional classes, practical training, and research activities conducted in modern laboratories. We ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of students’ progress, as well as academic counseling beyond regular class hours when necessary. The department actively organizes workshops, seminars, conferences, and technical events to enhance professional exposure. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and to collaborate with industry and academic institutions to broaden their practical and research experience.
