Dr. A R M Mostafizar Rahman

Hi, I am Dr. A R M Mostafizar Rahman, a professor at English Discipline at the Khulna University. I am also working as an adjunct faculty and acting Head of the Dept of English at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology Khulna (BAUSTK).

I obtained my BA (Hons.) in English and MA in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1999 and 2001 respectively. I earned my second MA in Applied Linguistics from University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia in 2008, and PhD in Language Studies from the National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2019. I am a linguist with research interests in sociolinguistics; sociophonetics; discourse studies; ecolinguistics; ethnolinguistics; contact linguistics; language choice, attitudes, and ideologies; dialectology; ELT; applied linguistics; globalization, migration, and super-diversity.
