Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Khulna. As the Head of the Department, I am pleased to introduce a program focused on developing engineers capable of addressing real-world challenges in Bangladesh and beyond.
Mechanical Engineering remains at the heart of key sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure—areas that are critical to Bangladesh’s growth and global sustainability efforts. Our department is committed to delivering quality education that combines strong theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on experience.
Through an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, we ensure that our graduates are equipped with the technical competence, problem-solving ability, and professional ethics required in today’s competitive engineering landscape. Our laboratories and workshops provide students with direct exposure to modern engineering tools and systems, preparing them for immediate impact in industry and research.
